Donna Mae Broadhurst, age 84, passed away peacefully April 30, 2023. Donna was born November 11, 1937 in Otsego to Arthur and Delva Curtiss. Donna retired as a Delton Kellogg Elementary School librarian after 25 years of service. A career she truly loved. She was a Campfire Girls leader and Cub Scout den mother. She enjoyed doing puzzles, going to bingo and just chit chatting with her many friends at Emerald Woods Apartments in Plainwell. She will be remembered for her strong will and loving heart. Donna was preceded in death by her husband George, who she married in 1956 son, Barry (Michelle); and brother, Howard. Donna is survived by sons: George (Ruth), Tom (Nancy); sister, Alice (Bill); brother, Lenard (Mary); 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Barry Township Hall. Memorial contributions to the Kalamazoo Cancer Center or Centrica Care Navigators Hospice will be appreciated.
