Dennis M. Fisher, age 60 of Delton, passed away unexpectedly on March 27 2021. Dennis was born on April 29, 1960 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, the son of Myles and Dee Fisher. Dennis was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie tribe of Chippewa Indians and worked as a construction bridge builder for many years. Dennis never let this world make him a bitter person no matter the obstacles he faced, he still stayed the sweetest man with the biggest heart. Dennis enjoyed spending time with family and will be remembered for his contagious laugh and sense of humor. In his later years he was very humble and at peace with himself. He enjoyed anything outdoors, mushrooming, hunting, fishing, horseback riding and a good game of basketball. Dennis is survived by his daughter, Casey (Ronnie) Byers; siblings: Daniel (Patty) Fisher, Patricia (George) Stein, Liz Soliz, Debbie Fisher, Douglas (Lorrie) Fisher, and Kimberlie (Stephen) Skidmore; several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Myles Fisher, and his mother, Dee Fisher. Cremation has taken place and due to the ongoing pandemic, a funeral service will not be held at this time out of extreme care and compassion for the health of everyone. A celebration of life gathering will likely be held in summer of 2021. Please visit www.williamsgoresfuneral.com to share a memory or to leave a condolence message for the Fisher Family.
