William “Bill” Mark Schenkel was greeted in Heaven on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 by his dad, Fred; mom, Sandra; brother, Rick; sister, Sandy (Sis); and crazy fur baby, Shelby.
Bill will be remembered by brother, Fred (Pam); sister-in-law, Denise; nieces: Ricci (Frank), Brandie; nephews: Eric, Benjamin; great nephew, Christian; dearest lifelong friend, Sharla; and many family and friends.
Billy’s life began on January 23, 1967. He was a 1985 TK graduate. Bill was a musician whose adventures led him to be known as “Wild Bill from Middleville”. He moved to Florida in 2003 to be closer to Sis. Due to medical reasons, yet still jamming, he returned back to Middleville in 2017.
“Wilbur”, as Sis called him, had a funny sense of humor, keen insight for music, incredible song writing abilities, and played numerous instruments- excelling at the guitar. Bill’s gift for music was proven by the way he performed Neil Young’s music. Sandra adored Billy’s musical techniques, but Fred (Fritz) maybe not so much.
Bill’s Farewell Tour will take place on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Fred and Pam’s home from 2pm-6pm. Please wear a concert shirt and let’s reminisce. Per Bill’s request, please bring your own smoke. Due to COVID, no sharing. KEEP ON ROCKIN’ IN THE FREE WORLD.
