FOOTE, Mable I.

On February 26, 2021 we said goodbye to a beautiful lady, Mable Irene Foote. Mable was born on January 9, 1934 in Van Buren County, Michigan to Jess and Esther Bradley. Then, as a young girl, she was adopted by Wilbur and Ruth Klump of Middleville, Michigan. She graduated from Thornapple Kellogg School in 1953. Mable is survived by her husband of 63 years, George Duane Foote.

In her younger years Mable worked at Royal Coach and Bradford White. She loved her family and liked to be everybody’s mom. Mable loved looking after everyone. If George was doing any type of project, Mable was right there helping. She also loved snowmobiling and her cabin. She enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and riding the motorcycle with George, her fifth wheel and camping. Deer season was also a highlight for Mable. She never missed putting up stands with family or the opening day breakfast, dinner, and supper story time. The many times George was successful she took great joy in being chief butcher.

Together they had four children: Linda (Mitch) Komarmy of South Lyon, Jim (Julie) Foote of Middleville, Cindy (Brian) Sprouts of Dorr, and Wilbur (Kris) Foote of Middleville; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill Klump, who was adopted with her; as well as many other siblings.

A visitation will be held at the Beeler-Gores Funeral Home in Middleville on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Michigan Chapter. Please visit to share a memory or leave a condolence message for Mable’s family.

Dear George, family and friends. Jerry and I are so sorry to hear of Mable's passing. I first met you and Mable at Dick and Ruth Foote's farm down in Gun Plains. I always felt you both to be so kind. As luck would have it, I married Jerry Morse and was a small part of the Foote family. Pleas except our heartfelt condolences at this difficult time for you and your loved ones.
