Cribley, Lona J.
Nashville

Lona Jane Cribley, age 80 of Nashville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, January 25, 2021. Lona was born on May 2, 1940 in Kalamazoo, MI to Roy and Eleanor (Sines) Garrison. Lona worked for many years at the Frankfort Hospital. She proudly owned and operated Lady Jane’s Antiques and Curio in Benzonia for over ten years. Lona enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, gardening, mushroom hunting, and bowling. She never left the house without making sure she had her red lipstick on, or as she called it “putting on her face”. Lona loved animals of all kinds, especially her cats and dogs. Most of all Lona loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she cared for deeply. She will be missed by her children: Juliana Orban, Anthony (Cindy Lou) Gibson, Eugene (Tamera) Gibson, Donald Gibson; 22 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; siblings: Rita Bates, Judy Drenten; many nieces and nephews. Lona was preceded in death by her husband, William Cribley; parents; and brother, James Garrison. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Spectrum Hospice or Barry County Humane Society.
