Gene, Rodney, Steve and Families,
Your Mom and "Gramma" was a wonderful lady...a joy in my life. Always and ever had I known your Mom and Aunt Mary( as well as their siblings and parents) from my earliest childhood memories, they were a part of my life and neighbors.
Your Mom phoned a few years ago and says "Let's us go to Kalamazoo to the Community Services Building and attend the "Healthy Holiday Cooking School" that's being held there. I read about this in the Hastings Reminder." Sounded fun to me; also, and we went, enjoyed a delightful time as well as learned some great baking tips, especially for using whole grains, and your Mom's enthusiasm and excitement was contagious.
Norm and I learned to plant our green beans and peas in double rows from your Mom. She loved gardening and plants and we appreciated her sharing some of her knowledge with us.
A most delightful, loving, caring lady was your Mom and special neighbor, too, of many years.
With hugs, and prayers thanking God for wrapping His Arms of Comfort around you each and all and giving you peace through this difficult and tough time.
Norm and Ellen Marie Curtis
