Margaret Converse

Margaret A. Converse, age 91 of Delton, passed away on November 27, 2020. Margaret was born on October 10, 1929 in Orangeville, the daughter of Russel and Margorie (Sensibee) Lewis. Margaret was a laundry supervisor at Borgess Pipp Hospital for nearly twenty years. She attended McCallum Church for many years. Margaret, or as her family called her, "Magpie,” loved reading, sewing, sweets and lovingly picking on her family and friends. She loved collecting décor items such as tables, chairs, recliners and anything with frogs. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Bobbie (Dick) Miller, grandchildren: Tim (Kim) Miller, Jay (Sabrina) Doster, Jody (Kevin) Duff, and Branden (Tonya) Doster; twelve great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren, son in law, Scott Doster; sister, Nancy Hoekstra; and special friend, Joan Brown. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Converse; and daughters: Susan Doster and Georgie Ann Converse. Per Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Prairieville Cemetery.
