Marcia Ann Kidder, age 75 of Middleville, passed away on September 19, 2020 at her home. Marcia was born in Hastings to Elton and Marcia (Buehler) Gray on June 19, 1945. Marcia worked at Founders Community Credit Union (formerly White Products Employees FCU) for 36 years (retiring in 2014) and took great pride in her work by providing the best customer service. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, and going to the theater. When her husband was living, she enjoyed camping and fishing at Sharp Park Campground and attending concerts at Sandyland Park. Marcia was known for her love for decorating the house for Christmas. She enjoyed music and loved to listen to her vinyl records. Marcia will be dearly missed by her loving children, Todd (Jeania) Kidder, Robin Kidder-DeWent, Polly (Brian) Campbell; six grandchildren, Brandon Boonstra, Troy Boonstra, Gracie DeWent, Ridge Kidder, Billie DeWent and Steele Kidder. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bill Kidder. As per Marcia’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery where she will be reunited with her husband. Memorial contributions to the Middleville Veterans Memorial Park, PO Box 451, Middleville, MI 49333, will be appreciated. Living across the street from Marsha for over 33 years I had many memories that make me laugh. When one of my kids asked her to buy candy for a school fundraiser, Marsha loudly and sternly asked if they thought she needed candy, intimidating the poor kid (lol). Then she laughed and filled out a generous order. She lived to tease and laugh with the kids.
Enjoy those wonderful memories.

Marcia loved to have fun. I remember when we dressed in black slacks and white shirts and went onto the court between quarters of our daughters basketball game to lead a cheer with the crowd. We also played a great prank during senior year of football season. The treats she brought to share with the rest of us were usually homemade, like the no-bake cookies. Marcia had a laugh and smile that were contagious. She served the BWC employees well and there was never a problem at the credit union that she could not fix. We dearly missed here when she retired. We have great memories of your mom. Sending hugs and condolences to all of you. Know that mom and dad are together again listening to good 'ole country music and trying out the fishing poles.
