Thinking of the family in your time of loss, Mary Lou Stickney

Jack & Gerry Thornton

With sadness in the loss of a childhood friend from the 1950's.
Charlie and I, Jack Thornton grew up together as neighbors in the small town of Dutton MI. Attended a one room schoolhouse and shared numerous activities together. Playing ball, ice skating on the creek behind our homes, swimming in the same creek in the summer months.

There was a large pig farm on 60th st where all of the Dutton boys would ride pigs. Growing up with Charlie was one big treat! He was fun to be with and always had a joke or story to share. It’s hard to say good bye to an old’ friend!

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers will be with Charlie’s family in their loss.

Jack Thornton

Going to miss Charlie a lot, he always told it like it was, a pleasure to be around. Very talented and an all-round great guy. God speed Charlie, miss you..

Rest in peace Charlie and I'm sure Dick was waiting for you with a drink in his hand and ready to talk a bit! We had some good times and you won't be forgotten. Joyce

Many fun memories with Charlie, from first meeting him on the CB channel (the Con-man), to motorcycling through the western states, to the coast of Oregon and Washington state. Also, snowmobiling every winter, RV traveling in AZ, to buying our house property from him and Letha. Rest in peace.
