Kathy and I always wondered why Lucas and Alex identified her as Green Nana and me Brown Nana. We always had a good laugh over that. She will be greatly missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your beautiful family.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Kathy for many years. The first thing that comes to my mind to describe her is SELFLESS, even though she was going through health issues for years she was just a phone call away for many, her infectious smile even though it wasn’t a good day for her. She will be missed. She was one of kind.... I pray for strength for her family to get through this.

I am so blessed to have had Kathy in my life. She was my “Michigan Mom” after my parents move to Florida. She gave me a place to stay, always included me in holidays and all in all just made me a part of her family. I am not sure that I would have made it through those tumultuous twenties without her. I am heartbroken that I will never see her smiling face, see her running around in a cute bathing suit, or give her a hug again.

You were loved so much and we are all better people for having known you. Be at peace and keep your eye on us from the great beyond. Love you Kathy!

Kathy was a blessing, especially to our family. When Kathy’s best friend’s mother Shirley was put in hospice, Kathy assisted in her care. I don’t even know how to express my gratitude and what her assistance meant to our family. Kathy’s kindness, gentleness and smile was like a breath of fresh air or like a bird singing, it brought peace to the soul.. Kathy has helped many people over the years and never asked for anything in return. Kathy put others before herself. In my eyes Kathy was an angel that made this crazy world easier for us. We can all learn from Kathy, she is truly an inspirational woman. Thank you God for sharing Kathy with us. She will be missed
