Stephen Rex Fetterley Sr. age 69 of Delton passed away on February 11, 2020. Rex was born on March 30, 1950 in White Cloud, the son of Charles W. Sr. and Joyce B. (Golden) Fetterley. A veteran, Rex proudly served his country in the United States Army. Rex worked as a journeyman plumber before becoming a timber buyer for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman, wildlife enthusiast, and was known to have an interest in “chemistry.” Rex enjoyed hosting cookouts and pig roasts with family and friends. Most important to Rex was his family, especially his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. Rex is survived by son: Rex (Erica) Fetterley Jr.; daughter: Sacha Fetterley; grandchildren: Lacie, Rylie, James, and Forrest; brothers: Charles “Cork” (Lori) Fetterley, and Tom (Judy) Fetterley; sister: Melody “Mel” Risner; sister-in-law: Evon Fetterley, and several nieces and nephews. Rex was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brother: Sonny Fetterley; and brother in law; Ted Risner. Rex’s family will receive friends on Thursday, February 13, 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Williams-Gores Funeral Home where his funeral service will be conducted on Friday, February 14, 2020, 11:00 AM, Pastor Rich Sheldon officiating. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 45. A luncheon will follow the graveside service at Orangeville Township Hall.
