CRAMER, Marilyn T.
Middleville

Marilyn Therese Cramer, age 76 of Middleville passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at American House in Jenison. Marilyn was born April 26, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to Leo and Erma (Schneider) Dionne. Marilyn was a 1961 graduate of Grand Rapids Catholic Central. On June 22, 1963, Marilyn married the love of her life Jack D. Cramer and together they shared twenty-seven year together before his passing in 1990. Marilyn owned and operated the Design Line in Caledonia for over eighteen years. She truly enjoyed her work and had a passion for hairdressing. She attended SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Marilyn was a true inspiration to others as she battled Parkinson’s Disease for over fifteen years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her family and always put them first. She loved the community and helping others. In her free time, Marilyn enjoyed time at the beach in the sun, shopping, reading, and movies. Most important to Marilyn was spending time with her family and friends. Marilyn is survived by her children: Michelle (Paul) Smith, Mark (Renee) Cramer, Renee (Dennis) DeVries; grandchildren: Joshua (Alexander) Smith, Joel (Nam) Smith, Allison (Mick) Dykstra, Madeline DeVries, and Shane Cramer; great grandchildren: Aubrey Smith, Everett Smith, and a great grandson due in January. She is also preceded in death by her parents; and brother :Kenneth Dionne. Marilyn’s memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 6:00 PM at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Wayland, with a rosary service being held at 5:30 PM. Burial will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
