Obituary

Annette Marie (Kite) Lucht passed away November 1, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer and its long-term effects. She was born April 9, 1956 in Allegan, MI to Harry and Elaine (Cole) Kite. When she lost her father early in life, the Lord sent her another, Larry Lonsbury who survives along with her mother and siblings Carol Lewis, Sandra Kite, Hank Kite and Lorri Smith as well as her partner Matthew Ewing. She was preceded in death by her father Harry Kite, Brother Lawrence (Sonny) Lonsbury and widowed by Alan Lucht.
She mothered three daughters Mendy (James) Marshall, Melissa (Larry) Wiessner with Larry (Janice) Marshall and Patricia Ginebaugh with Bill (Tammy) Ginebaugh. Her legacy will live on with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren – Cody (Lacey) Myers and Brentley, Alexis (Davell) Chambers and Mahki & Noahel, Alyssa Dowdy, Marley Miller, Maysse & Lindie Wiessner and Taylor, Tarrah & Emry Burke. They will cherish the memories they have of her. She enjoyed every moment with them and loved to laugh and have fun in her silly, carefree and child-like spirit. She was at her very best being Gramma ‘Nita.
She worked in construction as a laborer and equipment operator before her illness left her unable. She continued to build things with wood as a hobby. She jumped at every opportunity to be outdoors going camping, hunting or fishing - she loved being in the woods and living on the lake while sharing that time with her friends and family. She was also very proud of her Native American ancestry attending powwows and creating crafts to share that heritage. She stayed busy sewing quilts and doing other projects with and for her family, all of which will be treasured for years to come.
A life celebration is set following cremation to honor her final wishes. Please join us at the Delton Moose Lodge on Saturday November 9th. Services will be from 2pm – 4pm with a luncheon to follow from 4pm – 6pm. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you please consider contributions for her final arrangements or a donation in her honor to the cancer charity of your choice.
