I love you Matt and am missing you terribly. You were the greatest cousin ever and our times growing up were everything to me. I remember as a kid how excited my sisters and I would be to just come to you house. In a lot of ways I feel like I let you down, not being there for you in some way. Being hundreds of miles away and only know what I am told about the last years of your life. I wish you were still here to tell you how much I loved you. I can only now imagine the place you were in at the end. The battles you faced had to be impossible to win. I don't remember a part of growing up with out you being in my life. Your mom and dad always looking out for us and our dad. Your dad was our mail man. I remember when you met Travis's mom Kathy and the day he was born. (You were on top of the world that day for sure.) We are the same age and yes you were always older by 6 months. The memory's we had together, I have always have you laughing and being you. I am really struggling with you being gone and feel so sad. In you I had a brother, cousin, and best friend, The impact you had on our family and my life can never be put into words.

I will never forget the time, that we was cleaning out Kathy and Mike's car back in the 70s, and I found a $20 bill and you tried to grab it from me but you couldn't and you called me a little monster and that's how I got my nickname from you, you are now at peace and where you want to be and that's with Kathy, see you later

love ya buddy, many trips to the creek and to eagle lake will never be forgotten. Uncle Matt had a chevy chevette that he would let me shift when he pushed in the clutch, always fun times. Your laugh and smile will always be in my heart
