Obituary for Diana L. McDaniel

Diana L. McDaniel

Dowling

She was a little bit country and a little bit rock-n-roll. Diana was born April 22, 1948 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Marvin and Kathryn (Thatcher) Francisco. On July 23, 2019 Diana gave up her courageous battle with cancer. She was strong in living and death. She enjoyed playing the drums and singing with the bands “Pay Dirt” and later, “The Bandits.” She was a devoted horse woman. Topping that was her love of family. Daughter: Jackie (Ralph) Elliott, granddaughters: Paige Elliott, Jennifer (Brandon) Geerligs, Angela (Barry) Cooper; great grandchildren: Maison McDaniel, Danielle Fields, and Hailee Pickford; Sister: Sharon (Gary) Metheny; nephew: Shawn (Lorraine) Metheny; nieces: Kimberly (Forrest) Bagley and Shannon Metheny. Making sure her family was full - she was always cooking. All family and friends will miss her. A special thank you to Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence in Battle Creek, you all were amazing!
