Michael Dennis “Chad” Chadderdon passed away on February 28, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Chad was born October 18, 1950 in Kalamazoo, the son of Ernest and Dorothy (Smith) Chadderdon. Chad was drafted in 1969 and served time in Korea. He retired from General Motors in 2008 after thirty one years of loyal service. Chad loved fishing, camping, riding his Harley and spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids. Chad lived every bit of life to its fullest potential, pushing the envelope and everyone around him to their limits every moment he could. His love and laughter filled every corner of the room he occupied. Chad is survived by his loving wife, Paula L. (Dewey) Chadderdon. He is also survived by his three children: Melissa Shy and fiancé Kristopher Heckman, Hannah (Steven) Lester, and Jeremiah Chadderdon; 5 grandchildren Kendra, Brooklynne, McKenzie, Tyler, and Ava. Chad was preceded in death by his parents: Ernest and Dorothy Chadderdon; and his brother, Jeffrey Chadderdon. Chad’s family will receive friends, Tuesday, March 5, 2019, 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Williams-Gores Funeral Home where his memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place in Fort Custer National Cemetery on March 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM, please arrive and park in the Funeral Assembly Area at 12:45 PM.
