Clyde M. Millard (Butch), age 76, of Delton, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 10, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Clyde was born June 28, 1942 in Battle Creek, the son of Clyde and June (Rodman) Millard. He attended Delton Kellogg Schools and then went into the Navy. Upon return he married Susan Castle and they had a daughter and son together. They later divorced and he met Connie, his love for the past twenty eight years. He retired from General Motors of Kalamazoo as a tool and die maker. Butch loved to be outdoors. In his younger days he loved to snowmobile and was a member of the Delton snowmobile club. Throughout his life he could always be found on the Golf course or out on the lake in his boat. Butch had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Barb, Beverly and Meryle; a brother, Karl; and great granddaughter, Eden Hill. Butch is survived by his brother, Rex; wife, Connie; daughter Kim; son, Matthew; his grandchildren, Heather, Jennifer, Katie, Joshua, and Sequoyah; seven great grandchildren, one on the way and many nieces and nephews. He will also be greatly missed by his coffee buddies: Larry and Lynn. Clyde's celebration of life will be conducted on Saturday, February 9, 2019, 11:00 AM at Galesburg United Methodist Church, 111 West Battle Creek Street, Galesburg, Pastor Leonard Davis, officiating.
