Oh Betty how we will miss your candidness and honesty. I have watched your enormous capacity to love your husband, kids, and grandkids and your Heaveny Father. I will miss your laughter and sharing stories about our grandbabies. My hear hurts but rejoice that the pain is gone. Love you my friend.

I met Mrs. Raber when I stayed with the family for Christmas of 1999. I had gone to college with Bethany and she invited me to spend Christmas with her very loving family. Mrs. Raber was always very kind and loving. So sorry that she left us so soon. Heaven gained a wonderful lady. She'll be missed by many.

Dear Raber family, I am so sorry that Betty is no longer with us. She was such a fun, loving, faithful woman. I loved seeing her every week in Sunday School. She was someone I looked up to. I know she will be missed. On the other hand, I keep thinking of the song, “I can only imagine.” Isn’t it wonderful to have the assurance that she is in Heaven? I wish I could wrap my arms around you in person, and be there for the funeral, but instead this will have to do. You are all in my prayers. Love, Jana

Sorry to hear that Betty had passed away. Larry and I divorced. But he did let me know about Betty. I was shocked that she had cancer. So sorry we never stayed in touch. The boys are doing good. Brant has a little girl she will be 1 year old friday and Eric is married but I don't see them having any kids. Hope all is well and I'll be praying for you to get through all of this.

I want to let you know that I'm sorry to hear of the loss of Ms. Betty Raber. She will,be missed.,What has helped me to cope with this are scriptures from God's Word the Bible. ISAIAH 57:15 says of God "For this is what the High and Lofty One says, Who lives forever and whose name is Holy; "I reside in the high and holy place, But also with those crushed and lowly in spirit, To revive the spirit of the lowly And to revive the heart of those being crushed." This scripture shows how the CREATOR will strengthen you. He sees that you are lowly in spirit and wants to revive you so you can endure.

My condolences to the Raber families. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of dear Betty. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering.
