WARNER, Donald A. "Don"
Donald Albert Warner passed away February 8, 2018 at his home. Don was born September 19, 1944 in Kalamazoo, the son of Lance and Mildred (Tuttle) Warner. Don married the former Julia C. Davis, who survives. A dedicated family man, Don was a hard worker and a man that knew what he liked. Don enjoyed repairing houses (a genuine handyman) and mowing the lawn. In his free time, Don enjoyed watching Westerns and traveling with his wife, Julia. A lifelong Delton area resident, Don was proud to be a Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 50 for over six years and helped to guide many Eagle Scouts. Don is also survived by his son: William (Denise) Warner; and his daughter: Arlene (Bob) Lee; brothers: Richard (Ovonah) Warner and David (Sally) Warner; a sister: Linda Thompson; grandchildren: Josh, Mallory, Savannah, and Katie; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Don's family will receive friends, Thursday, 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Williams-Gores Funeral Home. Don's memorial service will be conducted Friday, February 16, 2018, 11:00 AM at Hickory Corners Bible Church, Pastor Jeff Worden, officiating.
